The developers of the next instalment of the Battlefield series are actively working on a new project, although there is little official information about it yet. The first stage of the Battlefield Labs programme has already been launched, which involves large-scale cooperation with players. However, EA is fighting against information leaks and suspends access to users who violate the non-disclosure agreement.

Here's What We Know

Battlefield Labs is the most ambitious collaborative testing programme in the history of the franchise. It is aimed at collaborating with players to develop the future game. Participation in the programme requires signing a non-disclosure agreement, but some videos from the game appear on the Internet. Such leaks have led to a negative reaction from EA, which emphasises that no participant benefits from the transfer of information out of context.

Totalfps community manager asked players to stop sharing information about the game without consent. According to him, the Battlefield Labs programme is designed to collaborate and test new ideas, and leaks undermine the trust and transparency that EA is trying to achieve. Participants who continue to violate the non-disclosure agreement will be removed from the programme.

EA emphasises that things that happen in the Labs may or may not make it into the final game. Therefore, the leaks do not make much sense, as the final version of the game may be very different from the Labs, which is primarily designed to create a testing ground where players can try out ideas and make adjustments en masse.
