After presenting the gameplay of the shooter Marathon, Bungie began to provide more and more details about what to expect from the game. And now there is information about the game running on Sony consoles.

Here's What We Know

Bungie has confirmed that Marathon on PlayStation 5 will support DualSense haptics, Tempest 3D Audio technology, and PS5 Pro visuals with PSSR.

We're looking forward to a stunning use of PSSR, as well as additional scaling and resolution support

The authors also intrigue that if you have a PS5 or PS5 Pro, you will be pleasantly surprised by how we implement the console's capabilities.

We can only guess what Bungie will be able to implement, but so far these statements indicate that the developers are confident that the game will work well (the main thing is that the servers will hold out).

Marathon is scheduled for release on 23 September 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
