Samsung has temporarily halted the global rollout of the One UI 7 update based on Android 15 for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 devices. This was reported by a well-known insider @UniverseIce. He also added that the reason for this was a bug that was discovered, which is reportedly related to unlocking the devices.

Here's What We Know

The update started rolling out on 7 April in some countries and on 10 April in the US. However, users in South Korea started complaining about problems with unlocking phones after installing the update, which forced Samsung to remove the firmware from its servers.

The problem initially affected Galaxy S24 models with the Exynos 2400 processor, but it was later revealed that it also affects Snapdragon processor devices sold in the US and other countries. On forums, users are concerned that the suspension could affect the update release schedule for other devices, including the Galaxy S23 series. Samsung has yet to officially confirm the issue or comment on the situation. A patch is expected to be released for the already updated devices to address the bugs.
