Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro rugged smartphone with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and eSIM support

Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy XCover 7 Pro rugged smartphone.

Here's What We Know

The novelty has some significant improvements over the 2022 model, among which it is worth highlighting the powerful (but not flagship) Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.

  • processor: Snapdragon 7s Gen 3;
  • memory: 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, microSD support up to 2TB;
  • cameras: 50MP (main), 8MP (wide-angle); 13MP (front);
  • battery: 4350 mAh (replaceable);
  • OC: One UI 7 (Android 15);
  • connectivity: USB 3.2 Type-C, Pogo, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, dual SIM (pSIM + eSIM);
  • dimensions: 168.6×79.9×10.2 mm, 240 g;
  • protection: IP68, MIL-STD-810H, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

The smartphone has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Touch Sensitivity technology enhances screen sensitivity, for example, when you need to interact with the device with gloves on.

The Vision Booster feature makes the screen image more distinguishable in bright lighting conditions.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 is priced at around €600.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro is only available in a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
