A few days ago Blizzard published the Diablo IV support plan for 2025, which implies the release of three seasonal updates, two collaborations with other franchises and a lot of small patches.

However, the plans of the American studio are much more ambitious and go far into the future.

Here's What We Know

The head of the Diablo franchise Rod Fergusson said that his team has a plan to develop the series for 10-12 years ahead!

We're going to be around for a long time. We've been doing some long-term planning recently and we've created a roadmap that covers 10 years... even 12. I can already see different things we can implement and it's very inspiring.

Obviously, Blizzard's main focus will be on supporting Diablo IV, but it's likely that new content will also appear in Diablo II: Resurrected and the mobile game Diablo Immortal. But Fergusson emphasised that the development team will definitely listen to what players want.
