Honor GT Pro: Rumours of a new gaming smartphone with a 1.5K display and powerful 90W charging
Honor is preparing to release a new model of its gaming smartphone, which promises to be an affordable alternative to flagship devices. Rumours about the Honor GT Pro emerge thanks to a Digital Chat Station insider who claims that this smartphone will be the successor to the recently released Honor GT.
Here's What We Know
The main update will be the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which has already been confirmed. However, the novelty may also borrow several features from the flagship Honor Magic7 Pro. According to preliminary data, the Honor GT Pro will have a 1.5K (1220p) display and support for fast charging with a capacity of up to 90W.
This smartphone is aimed at gamers and will be able to compete with models such as ROG Phone 9 Pro and RedMagic 10 Pro. The Honor GT Pro will feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 flash memory, which will ensure high performance. In addition, a special lizard glass and metal frame will be used to protect the display.
Another interesting feature will be an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which will improve accuracy and security compared to optical scanners. This technology is usually used in flagship models such as the Magic7 Pro.
It is also mentioned that Honor GT Pro will receive GPS support with two frequency bands. However, it is not yet known when exactly the smartphone will enter the market and whether it will be available internationally.
The Honor GT Pro is expected to be not only powerful but also an affordable option for mobile gaming enthusiasts.
