Xiaomi unveils new Smart Camera 4 smartphone with night vision and AI
Xiaomi has introduced a new Smart Camera 4 smartphone available for pre-order in China at a price of 249 yuan (approximately $34).

This new smart home camera combines an affordable price with premium features to deliver crisp video even in difficult lighting conditions.
The camera has an 8-megapixel 4K sensor, and its f/1.6 aperture combined with HDR mode allows it to capture clear images even in low light. A special feature of the new camera is built-in infrared night vision based on 940 nm infrared fill light, which allows you to see up to 10 metres in the dark.

In addition, Xiaomi Smart Camera 4 is equipped with a 1T artificial intelligence chip that provides dynamic tracking of people and animals. There is also a built-in dual-motor gyroscope that provides a 360-degree horizontal and 109-degree vertical viewing angle. For privacy, the camera supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with four-layer security and a built-in Mijia security chip.
Other features include two-way voice calling, baby mode, H.265 encoding, support for memory cards up to 256GB, and a lens protector. Although no global release has been announced yet, there is an international market version called the Smart Camera C700 with similar features.
