The Minecraft film has caused so much chaos in cinemas that a security message now appears before the screening
The new film based on the cult game Minecraft, which has grossed more than $550 million at the global box office, has become not only a box office hit but also a source of unexpected problems for cinemas. Due to the overly emotional reactions of viewers, particularly during the scene with the "chicken jockey", cinemas are forced to introduce special warnings before screenings.
Here's What We Know
In the scene where Jack Black's character shouts "Chicken jockey!", some viewers started throwing popcorn, launching confetti and even bringing live chickens into the cinema. In Provo, Utah, the screening had to be stopped due to an overreaction from the audience.
This chaos led to the emergence of new rules in cinemas: now, before a film is shown, a warning is shown asking people to refrain from excessive emotions and not to disturb the order.
Jack Black, who played Steve in the film, unexpectedly appeared at one of the screenings to personally warn the audience about the need to follow the rules of behaviour. He jokingly banned "chicken jockeys" and urged them not to throw popcorn.
