You will be a little emotionally traumatised after The Last of Us season 2, says Bella Ramsay
The second season of the post-apocalyptic drama The Last of Us has already plunged viewers into an even more violent and unpredictable world, and Bella Ramsay, who plays Ellie, assures us that the season finale will leave viewers emotionally devastated.
Here's What We Know
In an interview with Collider, Ramsay said that by the end of the season, viewers will "feel like they've been on a very intense rollercoaster ride".
"I just hope that people hold on to their seats for the whole thing, because it's going to be really crazy. I think the audience will be hoping to really enjoy the ride," said Ramsay.
"I hope people will be a little bit emotionally traumatised because the show is meant to evoke strong feelings.
The season two finale "is going to make you feel certain things," and that includes anger at the people who decided how the story would unfold, Ramsay added. "You might be angry at the showrunners and everyone involved," she said.
These comments echo previous statements by showrunner and director Craig Mazin, who expects a "furore" around the second season due to the changes made by the writers.
We don't work to please people on social media or avoid their disappointment. We're just doing what we think is right and we hope people will join us on this journey and enjoy it," said Mazin.
The second season of The Last of Us covers some of the events of The Last of Us: Part II, but not all of them. The upcoming third season will continue the story of the second game, but it is not yet known where the line between the second and third seasons will be drawn.
We would like to remind you that the new trailer for the second season of The Last of Us reveals the upcoming trials and shows a lot of action and tension.
