NeocoreGames studio has revealed the release date for the console versions of King Arthur: Legion IX - a standalone add-on for the good tactical RPG King Arthur: Knight's Tale.

Here's What We Know

King Arthur: Legion IX was released on PC in spring 2024 and received good reviews from gamers. Now the developers have announced that already on the 6th of May PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series users will be able to get acquainted with the game. Since this is an independent DLC, it is not necessary to buy King Arthur: Knight's Tale to run it and understand the plot.

As a reminder, the storyline of King Arthur: Legion IX sees the experienced warlord Gaius Julius Mento returning from Tartarus (the afterlife) as a demon and servant of the dead Emperor Septimus Sulla and travelling to the mysterious island of Avalon to fight the Knights of the Round Table and build a new Rome.

Players are offered 15 exciting missions with complex tactical battles and strategic planning of their actions. Most of the mechanics and combat system of Legion IX are taken directly from Knight's Tale, but the developers didn't forget to add new features.
