The unconventional city-building strategy game Worshippers of Cthulhu will leave early access on 22 May. The game received a major update
Crazy Goat Games studio and Crytivo publishing house announced important news about the development of unusual city-building strategy Worshippers of Cthulhu, in which the player takes on the role of the head of the cult of the famous deity from the books of Howard F. Lovecraft (H.P. Lovecraft) and his actions bring closer the awakening of the indescribable monster, sleeping at the bottom of the ocean.
Here's What We Know
The authors reported that already on the 22nd of May Worshippers of Cthulhu will leave Steam Early Access. It is noteworthy that the developers needed less than a year for this: the game was released in autumn 2024 and received good reviews.
The latest update for Worshippers of Cthulhu was released in early access, it added new mechanics and horror specialisations to enhance summoned monsters, improved the Cult control interface and fixed bugs.
Upon full release, Worshippers of Cthulhu is expecting even more new content and it has already been stated that there will be:
- new challenges, environments and story for Chapter 3 and Chapter 4;
- new ceremony, ritual and horror rising from the depths;
- visual enhancements and an overall polishing of the game experience;
- "secrets whispered to the Cult's most loyal followers."
As part of Lovecraftian Days, Steam is offering a 20% discount on Worshippers of Cthulhu.
