Have you ever wondered how much your passion for gaming on Steam actually costs? Although this feature has been around for quite some time, many users are unaware of the ability to see the exact amount of money spent on the Valve platform. Now the secret can be revealed.

Here's What We Know

Reddit user trotski94 has shared an easy way to find out the exact amount of your Steam investment, which is much more accurate than trying to calculate the cost of all your purchases in history. To do this, you need to follow a few simple steps:

  1. Click the "Help" tab in the top left corner of the Steam window.
  2. From the menu, select Steam Support.
  3. On the support page, go to the "My Account" section.
  4. Next, select "Data associated with your Steam account".
  5. Finally, click on "External funds used".

You will then see a list with several categories of expenses. The most important for most users will be the "TotalSpend" line. This is where the total amount of external funds you have ever deposited into your Steam account is displayed.

So now you can either brag about how much you buy games, or feel ashamed because you haven't even opened most of them.
