Ghost of Yotei is already working well and feels natural and intuitive, says former PlayStation exec
Shuhei Yoshida, a former PlayStation exec and seemingly unofficial Ghost of Yotei beta tester, has shared his impressions of the early version of the upcoming open-world samurai action game, and they are more than positive. According to Yoshida, his time with the game "always felt great".
Here's What We Know
The new Sucker Punch project, which promises a bloody version of 17th century Japan, remains one of the most anticipated mysteries of 2025 without an exact release date. However, while Ghost of Tsushima fans have to be patient, Yoshida is happy to report that Yotei is already doing well.
"Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch always make the game feel right," Yoshida said in a recent episode of the Easy Allies podcast.
"It's a case where you forget you're holding a gamepad, the game becomes so natural and intuitive.
Yoshida also emphasised that Sucker Punch "somehow, always from the earliest stage of development" manages to create a fully playable and bug-free video game.
"Somehow, the game doesn't crash," Yoshida said in amazement.
We hope that the game will not be postponed and will be released in 2025 exclusively on PlayStation 5.
