Samsung has released a software update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones that includes an April security patch and some other improvements.

Here's What We Know

In addition to increased security, the update improves camera, charging, and overall system stability. One of the key new features is the return of the media playback widget, which now appears in the notification bar and as a Now Bar pill in the status bar. This feature was available on older devices with One UI 7, but has been missing from the Galaxy S25 series since its launch.
