Yesterday Funcom studio Flight to Arrakis delayed - Dune: Awakening release postponed Dune: Awakening, but promised to often delight gamers with trailers and new details, and the authors did not delay the fresh show.

Here's What We Know

Funcom held a stream, where the authors demonstrated the main gameplay mechanics of Dune: Awakening, starting from character creation and up to open-world battles in the merciless planet Arrakis.

The developers reminded that gamers will have to fight not only with each other, but also with virtual opponents, among which there will be characters of different classes, specialities and even biological species. With bandits and raiders to deal with will not be very difficult, but trained soldiers are a huge danger. However, the real kings of Arrakis are the Sandworms, who, as in films and novels, impress with their size and aggression, and it is extremely difficult to hide from them.
