Lenovo has announced a new gaming tablet, the Legion Y700 (2025), which will be an update of last year's model. The novelty will appear on the market next month, and one of the main changes will be an improved configuration.

Here's What We Know

Unlike its predecessor, the new tablet will have an updated design and hardware.

The appearance of the device will also undergo changes. The new model will not have the dual camera on the back that the Y700 (2025) had, and will have only one main camera instead of two. The decision to reduce the number of cameras, in particular, to replace the macro camera with a 2 MP one, seems reasonable, as the main camera will be sufficient for most users.

The main feature of the new product will be the emphasis on artificial intelligence. Lenovo announced a conference dedicated to AI capabilities on 7 May, where the tablet is likely to be presented. According to preliminary data, the new Legion Y700 will be equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the previous model.

The display diagonal will remain unchanged at 8.8 inches, which allows for a convenient size for mobile gamers. The tablet will be targeted at users looking for a powerful gadget for gaming and productivity, including the latest AI technologies.

The exact date of the announcement and the start of sales have not yet been announced, but it is expected that the tablet will be released in May.
