Samsung may have experienced a delay in the release of the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S23 series, which could arrive as early as 22 April in some countries.

Here's What We Know

Previously, Canadian operator Telus had indicated this date in its update schedule, causing a wave of anticipation among S23 users. However, the information has been removed from the operator's website, which could mean a postponement.

The reason for the delay could be due to a problem with device unlocking that was discovered during the rollout of the update for the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung may have paused the release to avoid similar difficulties with other devices, especially those that were not part of the One UI 7 beta testing.

Despite this, the company could still release an update for the Galaxy S23 before the end of April, except for the FE model, whose update is expected in May. However, there is also a possibility that the update for all Galaxy S23 models will be pushed to next month. For now, we can only wait for further news from Samsung.
