Xiaomi has launched the new Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh in a number of European countries, including the UK, the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. This compact accessory is already available for £19.99/€29.99.

Here's What We Know

The Power Bank supports wireless charging up to 7.5W for iPhone 12 and later. Thanks to the 10N magnetic connection strength, the device stays securely on the phone. Additionally, there is a USB-C port that allows you to charge a second gadget using wires at a power of up to 18W. If two devices are charged simultaneously, the total power is limited to 10W.

The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, which is enough to fully charge, for example, an iPhone 15. The USB-C port is also used to charge the Power Bank itself at up to 20W, which ensures full charge recovery in about 2.2 hours.

Additional benefits include the ability to simultaneously charge the Power Bank and a connected device, NTC thermal management, and protection against overheating, short circuit, overcurrent and overvoltage.

The thickness is only 12 mm and the dimensions are 103.7 × 68.3 mm, which makes the accessory convenient for travelling, including air travel.

Recently, along with the announcement of the new RedMagic 10 Air smartphone, the company introduced two new magnetic wireless power banks. Both chargers support the Qi2 standard and can provide wireless charging of up to 15W.
