Metal Eden cyberpunk shooter postponed: release now scheduled for summer 2025

Reikon Games has announced the postponement of the release of its upcoming cyberpunk shooter Metal Eden, which was previously scheduled for 6 May. Now the game is expected to be released sometime this summer, and the exact date will be announced "as soon as we can".

Here's What We Know

Explaining the reasons for the delay, the Reikon Games team addressed the players on social media:

"After processing your feedback on the demo, we saw clear areas where we can improve the game. We are taking a little more time to refine Metal Eden and make sure it meets our expectations. Your input has been an important part of this process and we really appreciate it."

As a reminder, the Metal Eden demo, which includes two story missions, is available for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. It allows you to get acquainted with the shooting, movement and progression system.

Metal Eden is an action-packed first-person shooter set in the future. The main character has to fight back against enemy robots and security systems of the MOEBIUS metropolis. Her arsenal includes eight types of weapons and incredible speed, which allows her to effectively counter numerous threats.
