Ubisoft has confirmed that space adventure game Star Wars: Outlaws will come to the new portable system. However, as it became known, players will have to wait a little longer: the game will be released on Switch 2 not simultaneously with the launch of the console on 5 June, but a few months later - on 4 September.

Here's What We Know

Star Wars: Outlaws takes place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The protagonist is Kay Wess, a criminal who has a deadly mark on her head from one of the galactic cartels.

During the panel at Star Wars Celebration in Japan, Ubisoft did not share many details about the Nintendo Switch 2 version, only confirming the release date.

Interestingly, at the same panel, Ubisoft The leaked trailer for the second Star Wars Outlaws DLC reveals plot details, and Ubisoft has released a demo of the game for Star Wars: Outlaws called A Pirate's Fortune. In this DLC, Kay will team up with the famous pirate Hondo Onaka to confront Stinger Tash, the leader of the Rokan Raiders. The release of Star Wars: Outlaws: A Pirate's Fortune is scheduled for release on 15 May. The game also received a 3-hour demo version.
