EcoFlow introduces Glacier Classic - a refrigerator and power bank for travelling in one case
EcoFlow has introduced the Glacier Classic, a multifunctional device that combines a portable fridge and a power station. This new product is designed for travelling, camping and working in the field. It allows not only to keep food and drinks chilled but also to charge electronics, including smartphones, laptops and other gadgets.
Here's What We Know
The Glacier Classic is available in three sizes: 35, 45 and 55 litres. The smallest one can hold up to 58 cans of drinks, while the largest one can hold up to 90. The device supports both cooling and freezing. In larger models, you can divide the chamber into two zones for simultaneous storage of frozen and chilled food. For example, a 35-litre model can maintain a temperature of 3.9 °C for up to 43 hours without recharging, and larger models can do so for up to 39 hours.
The device is equipped with a built-in 298 Wh battery. The Glacier Classic delivers up to 100W via the USB-C port, which is enough to charge an iPhone more than 12 times or a MacBook Air laptop about five times.
The device itself can be charged in three ways: from a standard wall outlet, via USB-C or solar panels. Charging from a car cigarette lighter is also available using branded EcoFlow 500W or 800W car chargers.
The temperature and modes can be controlled via the EcoFlow mobile app. It allows you to change the settings, track the temperature for the last seven days and receive notifications if the temperature inside exceeds 5°C for 10 minutes.
Pre-orders for the Glacier Classic started on 18 April on the official EcoFlow website. Full sales will begin on 25 April - both on the brand's website and on Amazon. The prices of the models are $799, $899 and $1199 respectively, but discounts will be available from 25 April to 25 May - $699, $799 and $899.
