Long before the Nintendo Switch 2 was officially announced, insiders were reporting that several Assassin's Creed instalments, including Shadows, were being ported to the new console.

Ubisoft has not commented on these rumours, but they have received indirect confirmation.

Here's What We Know

The website of the European qualification agency PEGI presents a list of the most wanted games there, which is headed by Assassin's Creed Shadows. At the same time, the search box lists the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game, although there is no mention of this Japanese console on the game's page.

Probably, the age old agency keeps confidentiality while fulfilling its duties, but the fact remains that it looks like Assassin's Creed Shadows will still be released on Nintendo Switch 2.

As a reminder, in addition to the game set in the setting of feudal Japan, insiders have claimed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Mirage, Odyssey, and Origins will be ported to Switch 2, with the latter two games coming as part of a single bundle.
