Rematch, a football action game without rules created by Sifu, has conquered Steam: more than 130 thousand players have tried the beta version
Announced back in December, the multiplayer football action game Rematch from Sloclap, the studio known for the fighting game Sifu, caused a great deal of excitement. And it seems that this excitement is being converted into a large number of players.
Here's What We Know
The open beta of the game, which lasted on Steam from 18-21 April, literally flooded the servers, attracting thousands of people to try out the new sports action game.
According to SteamDB, on 20 April, Rematch reached a peak of 133 thousand simultaneous players on Steam. And now the main thing for the developers is to keep this momentum until the full release.
Obviously, the promise of a dynamic Rocket League-style football multiplayer with no rules has caught the attention of many, and the fact that the studio responsible for the development is the one that gave us the beloved Sifu has only fuelled the interest.
Rematch is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 19 June, and the game will also be available on Game Pass from day one. The game will cost $30.
