New EcoFlow Wave 3 portable air conditioner to be released on 25 April
EcoFlow has announced the launch of its new Wave 3 portable air conditioner, which will be available at the end of April. This device promises significantly more cooling and heating power than previous models, as well as additional features for user convenience.
Here's What We Know
Wave 3 is the perfect solution for camping, travelling in trailers, lodges or yachts.
The new product has a cooling capacity of 6100 BTU, capable of reducing the temperature by 8°C in just 15 minutes, covering an area of 11 to 17 m². In addition, Wave 3 also supports heating, with a capacity of 6800 BTUs, which can raise the temperature by 9°C in the same time.
The device is equipped with an automatic heating mode, dehumidification function and a sleep mode that reduces noise levels to 44 dB.
The air conditioner can be used for up to eight hours with an additional 1024Wh battery. The batteries are manufactured using LFP technology, with an expected service life of up to 10 years. Charging is possible in several ways: from the mains or solar panels, with a full charge taking only 75 minutes. Alternatively, you can use the charging accessory while travelling, which allows you to charge the device in less than two hours.
The EcoFlow Wave 3 also supports remote control via an app that allows you to monitor battery status, receive water drainage alerts and switch modes.
Wave 3 will be available for purchase from 25 April for $1299, with an additional battery costing $899. However, a special price is available for early buyers until 25 May - $749 for the air conditioner and $1299 for the battery pack.
