Do you remember the soulful Another Crab's Treasure, which was also called Sekiro at the bottom of the ocean? This wonderful game by Aggro Crab Studio, where we played as a hermit crab, has received a huge free update.

Here's What We Know

"Crab Update of the Year" embodies almost all of the ideas, features, and content that the studio wanted to add to the game at release but didn't have time to due to time or budget constraints.

The juiciest part of the update is undoubtedly the New Game Plus mode, which opens after the end of the main story. Instead of simply increasing the damage you receive, Aggro Crab has completely remixed almost every enemy encounter in the game, giving you a great reason to play through the entire adventure from the beginning, and probably get a good beating again. In addition, there's a new boss lurking somewhere, ready for battle.

A few useful improvements have also been added to the mix, such as chapter selection, which allows you to navigate and replay previous parts of the story. And finally, new achievements for hunting and community collectible cards. Though rather vague, the patch notes also suggest that speedrunners may want to pay attention to the game's particularly fast snails.

And replaying bosses will allow you to practice battles with already defeated enemies, and completing a series of trials with multiple bosses will reward the hero with a variety of ridiculous and/or cute crab costumes. The game also features a bestiary in the form of a museum of marine life, which will provide you with additional information about all the fish you've beaten up.

And if you don't have the game yet, you can buy it with a significant 40% discount on Steam until 5 May!
