Honda has fitted six displays in the new GT
Honda unveiled in Shanghai the production version of the GT model, the second electric car in the new Chinese Ye range, following last year's S7 and P7 crossovers. One of the features of the model was the presence of six displays in the cabin.

Production of the model will be launched by two joint ventures - Dongfeng Honda and GAC Honda. The cars will differ in design details, including bumpers, optics and brand emblems, but otherwise will remain identical.

The exterior of the GT differs significantly from Honda's global models, and judging by the official images, the design has turned out to be one of the most distinctive in the brand's Chinese line-up. The Honda GT gets a dynamic body design with a sloping roof line. The body can be painted in a two-colour scheme (probably an optional extra), and the Honda logo is in a new style - without the usual rectangular frame.
However, the interior gives mixed impressions. The driver and front passenger are surrounded by six displays: digital instrument panel, multimedia system, climate control console, additional display in front of the passenger and two more displays on the sides. The latter display images from the car's side cameras, which have replaced the mirrors.

Technical specifications of the production GT have not yet been disclosed. However, if the model retains the e:N Architecture W platform from the P7 and S7, we can expect versions with one and two electric motors, with 268bhp and 469bhp respectively. The range should be between 620 and 650 kilometres on the CLTC cycle, depending on the drive. Power comes from an 89.8 kW∙h battery developed by CATL.
The GT model will be one of the flagship models in the Ye line-up, aimed exclusively at the Chinese market.
