Motorola has announced a new generation of foldable smartphone - the Razr 60 Ultra, which runs on Android 15. The model combines flagship performance, artificial intelligence integration, advanced camera capabilities and, of course, a focus on design - wood and alcantara are used in the finish.

The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite (3 nm) processor, which immediately makes the Razr 60 Ultra the most productive of all folding smartphones. It will remain so at least until the announcement of Galaxy Flip 7, which is expected in July. The Razr 60 Ultra has a 7.0-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2912 x 1224 pixels, a peak brightness of 4500 nits, Pantone certification and 20% thinner bezels. The external 4.0-inch display with a resolution of 1272x1080 and Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection is, according to the manufacturer, 40% larger than similar screens in competitors' smartphones. It is interesting how Motorola offers options for wearing the smartphone: as a clip on a shirt or trouser pocket. Or even as a pendant on a woman's bag.

Moto ai artificial intelligence

The integrated moto ai system offers a set of tools that adapt to user habits:

  • Catch Me Up - summarises missed messages and notifications;
  • Pay Attention - highlights important information among the general stream;
  • Remember This - saves data for later quick access.
  • The Next Move function analyses the context on the screen (recipe, route, etc.) and suggests further actions. With Smart Connect, you can stream content to a TV or PC.
  • Look Talk mode allows you to interact with moto ai hands-free when the device is partially folded.

Cameras

Razr 60 Ultra is the first foldable smartphone with three 50-megapixel cameras, including an ultra-wide-angle module. It supports Dolby Vision for video and Dolby Atmos for surround sound. Among the interesting features are Group Shot - creates a series of frames for the best group photo (selects faces with open eyes). And Action Shot - reduces blur when shooting on the move.

Battery life and charging

The smartphone is equipped with a 4700 mAh battery that provides up to 36 hours of battery life. Thanks to 68W TurboPower fast charging technology, the device can be charged up to 80% in just 8 minutes. It also supports 30W wireless charging and reverse charging, which allows you to transfer power to other compatible devices.

Materials, protection and design

The body has a titanium hinge, IP48 protection and recycled materials. The most interesting thing is that some versions are finished in alcantara or natural wood, and the colour palette was created in collaboration with Pantone.

Availability and prices

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra has been officially launched and is already available in a number of countries. The price will be announced separately depending on the market. For example, prices in Europe, which were known before the official announcement, are 1300 euros for the 16/512 GB version (probably excluding Alcantara).
