F1 25 brings back the Braking Point story mode - with new characters, elections and drama

Codemasters is preparing to release F1 25, the next instalment of its racing simulator, which will be released on 31 May on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. One of the main features of this year's game will be the return of the Braking Point story mode, which will receive its third instalment.

Here's What We Know

The story focuses on the fictional Konnersport team, which is trying to win a place among the Formula 1 elite. However, on the way to success, a dramatic event occurs that changes the dynamics of the team. According to the available information, the antagonist Devon Butler, known to fans from the previous games, is undergoing an unexpected transformation, which opens up new opportunities for the F2 champion Kelly Mayer.

Braking Point 3 has received significant updates:

  • For the first time, players will be able to choose the pilot to play as.
  • Difficulty levels are better balanced,
  • Interviews with journalists in the Meet the Press mini-mode have become more authentic,
  • Face animations have been improved with Nvidia Audio2Face technology.
  • Codemasters promises that the story will be complete even for those who have not played the previous Braking Point titles.
  • The Iconic Edition is also available, pre-ordering which gives access to the game three days earlier - from 28 May - and contains additional
  • bonuses for Lewis Hamilton fans inspired by F1 The Movie.
