Honor 400 series received certification in China: smartphones with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and 8 Gen 3

Honor is preparing to launch new Honor 400 series smartphones that have received radio frequency certification in China. This confirms that the gadgets are likely to be presented in May 2025.

Here's What We Know

Two devices of the series with model numbers DNN-AN00 and DNP-AN00 have received approval from the Chinese certification platform CMIIT. The Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro are expected to be launched in China and other markets, although there is no exact information on the differences in specifications for different regions.

According to a reliable insider at Digital Chat Station, the Honor 400 will feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7550) chipset. While the Honor 400 Pro will get a larger 6.69-inch OLED screen with the same resolution and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Honor 400 Ultra model is also being considered, but there is no information about it yet.

In terms of cameras, the Honor 400 will have a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera. The Honor 400 Pro will have the same primary camera, but with an additional 50MP telephoto camera. Both devices can get a 5300 mAh battery. The standard model will support 66W charging, while the Pro version will support 100W charging.

The Honor 400 is expected to cost around €468 in Europe.
