Fashion innovation from Adidas: global sales of 3D-printed Climacool trainers start on 2 May
3D printers have found wide application in a variety of industries and, of course, such a giant as Adidas could not help but use such an innovative technology.
Here's What We Know
Adidas has always positioned itself as a company open to innovation and unconventional solutions and the Climacool trainers are a direct confirmation of this. They became the first trainers of the brand, printed on a 3D printer.
The design of the sports shoes is minimalistic: without laces and colourful inserts, but with smooth curves and Adidas signature stripes. Foot comfort is provided by 360-degree ventilation, a cushioned heel and integrated arch support.

Previously, the Climacool trainers were offered in limited quantities and only through the Adidas Confirmed platform. But as early as 2 May, everyone will be able to purchase the shoes through the branded app and in some Adidas shops in the US.
It is stated that about 20,000 pairs will be available in Europe at a price of $140.
