New Alfa Romeo Stelvio revealed in patent images
Images from in patent documents have revealed the design features of the next-generation Alfa Romeo Stelvio. They confirmed that the compact crossover will change a lot.
Here's What We Know
Let's start with the front end, which is dominated by Alfa Romeo's signature shield, but without the logo in the centre. Like the Junior model, the emblem is likely to be placed on the bonnet. The sides are flanked by slim headlamps and air intakes below.
A light triangle, first shown in teasers at the end of the 2024, appears at the stern. This design element will be a feature of the Stelvio 2025 and is likely to be used on the new Giulia, which is expected to premiere in 2026. The headlights will be combined into a single light line entering the side panels, where a contrasting insert at the bottom of the bodywork also stands out.
It is currently known that the new Stelvio will be built on Stellantis' STLA Large platform - the same as the new Dodge Charger. The Stelvio will be offered in all-electric versions, as well as with hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Though details on power and range are not yet available.
For reference, the electric Charger is available in 503bhp and 680bhp versions, both with two electric motors (one for each axle). The internal combustion engine version is powered by the Hurricane's 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six-cylinder Hurricane, available in two variants: 420bhp and 550bhp.
