The non-verbal human is open to communication: Neuralink has performed the third successful surgery to implant a chip into a patient's brain
The startup Neuralink, owned by Elon Musk has conducted the third successful operation to implant a neurochip into the human brain.
Here's What We Know
Bradford G Smith, who suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a severe progressive disease of the central nervous system, agreed to the surgery and became the third person with a Neuralink chip.
Bradford is also the first non-verbal person to undergo such a procedure.
Thanks to the Neuralink chip, which reads neuronal signals and converts them into commands for external devices, Smith can now communicate by controlling a computer with his mind.
Bradford Smith invites everyone to communicate at X and promises to answer questions whenever possible.
I am the 3rd person in the world to receive the @Neuralink brain implant.

1st with ALS. 1st Nonverbal.
I am typing this with my brain. It is my primary communication.
Ask me anything! I will answer at least all verified users!

Note that the most famous amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patient was astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who had no such technology in his lifetime, but could also communicate by controlling a computer with his gaze and a single moving finger.
