Samsung has released the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S22 series in South Korea
Samsung has started actively rolling out the One UI 7.0 update for many of its smartphones and another device that now has access to the new update is the Galaxy S22 series of flagships.
Here's What We Know
The update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones arrived today, 28 April 2025, in South Korea and the firmware is expected to arrive in other countries soon. The update is 4.4GB in size and it includes an April security patch that enhances the security of the smartphones.
Today in South Korea, the One UI 7 update also became available for several more of the company's devices such as the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, as well as the Galaxy Tab S8 tablet. In addition, the Samsung has released the One UI 7 stable update for Galaxy S23 flagships across Europe smartphones as well as the Galaxy Fold 5 and Flip 5 received the new firmware in Europe today.
Samsung has released the update for many devices just today, so expect other, cheaper smartphones and tablets to start receiving the long-awaited, final version of One UI 7 soon as well in the coming days.
