Work on Manor Lords is actively continuing: the author of the strategy revealed his upcoming plans to improve the game
In honour of the first anniversary of Manor Lords Early Access release, its author Grzegorz Styczeń published a post on Steam, in which he revealed the next plans for the game's development.
Here's What We Know
The author said that he has recruited a small team to help him realise his ideas on Manor Lords development, and now Slavic Magic is a full-fledged indie studio.
The developer plans to significantly improve some mechanics of Manor Lords and add new features. Artificial Intelligence will become even more responsive to the player's actions, and the mechanics of trading and exchanging goods will become more dynamic and well thought out. The game will have detailed statistics of production and consumption of resources.
Manor Lords plans to introduce mechanics of building maintenance, for example, some buildings should be repaired. It will also be necessary to take care of the continuous work of various shops and crafts. Thus, in the forges it is necessary to regularly supply tools, and in the mines - boards. Gamers will have the opportunity to increase the efficiency of enterprises.
Special attention in Manor Lords will be paid to stone construction, for which there will be a special quarry and brick kilns.
Slavic Magic will rework existing elements of Manor Lords and even style the interface to look like manuscripts.
The strategy game is available in early access on Steam, EGS, GOG and PC Game Pass.
