Insiders: Nvidia is preparing to release reinforced RTX 5080 Super and 5070 Super graphics cards
Nvidia often releases "Super-versions" of its graphics cards and, as insiders have learnt, the 50-series will be no exception.
Here's What We Know
Immediately several reputable sources reported, the American company is preparing to release RTX 5080 Super and 5070 Super.
The specifications of the enhanced graphics cards are still unknown, but according to rumours they will get more GDDR7 memory: RTX 5080 Super will have 24 GB, and 5070 Super - 18 GB. For comparison, the standard 5080 and 5070 have 16GB and 12GB of VRAM respectively, and the only graphics card in the RTX 50 series with 24GB of memory is the flagship 5090.
Insiders are not yet ready to reveal a release date for the new GPUs, but it's unlikely to produce in 2025 as it's only recently that the 50-series graphics cards went on sale.
