Bloomberg: Apple Vision Air lightweight AR headset in a titanium case could be available as early as late 2025
Apple is not abandoning its attempts to popularise the Vision Pro mixed reality headset and is actively working on several new iterations of the device. Recently, an insider under the nickname Kosutami shared interesting information according to which an AR version of Apple Vision Pro with a titanium body is in development, which will significantly reduce the weight of the gadget. This information was supplemented by authoritative insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.
Here's What We Know
Gurman recalled that Apple is developing at least two models of mixed reality headset and one of them is definitely Apple Vision Air.
He believes that the US company has completed the bulk of the work and will be ready to release a lightweight new product in late 2025 or early 2026.
It is not yet clear whether the Apple Vision Air will be a complete replacement for the Vision Pro or whether they will be sold in parallel with the expectation of different tasks.
