What's going on with La Quimera? IGN has published a new gameplay video of the ambitious shooter and the quality of the game is no longer frustrating
Something strange is happening with the shooter La Quimera from Reburn studio, which was founded by the former developers of 4A Games Ukraine - the authors of Metro series.
The release of the ambitious game was supposed to take place on 25 April, but at the very last moment it was postponed indefinitely. At the same time, La Quimera failure: shooter from the creators of Metro struck by terrible execution and postponed indefinitely, in which they claimed that the shooter has outdated graphics, poor performance, the combat system does not offer anything innovative, bad voice acting, the plot is almost absent, and on the footage of walkthroughs all this was confirmed.
Here's What We Know
Today IGN portal published a 24-minute gameplay video of La Quimera, recorded in 4K at 60 FPS at maximum graphics settings. Surprisingly, it doesn't have most of the problems that bloggers and reviewers were talking about three days ago, and the game looks beautiful, technologically advanced and doesn't seem outdated.
It's not at all clear what this contrast is about, and we'd like to wait for other materials from reputable publications to finally understand what La Quimera is: another Yakuta-style cheat like The Day Before or a really promising game that ran into technical problems.
