Govee Square Ceiling Light made its debut in Spain, France and Germany
Govee has launched its new square ceiling lamp in Europe, including Spain, France and Germany. With a diameter of 30 cm, this smart lamp offers dynamic white and coloured lighting effects.

The lamp supports control via the Govee Home app or voice commands and is compatible with the Matter protocol.
The model was first spotted in the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) database in February 2025. Square Ceiling Light is equipped with an RGBIC LED light source that provides up to 2400 lumens at 2700K. This is enough to illuminate a room of about 20 m².
Users can choose from over 16 million colours, adjust the colour temperature from 2700K to 6500K, or adjust the brightness via the app.
The Govee Home app has more than 70 dynamic light scenes and the ability to set up a lighting schedule. The lamp is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants, and Matter support allows it to integrate with other smart home devices. The lamp is made of fire-resistant materials and, according to the manufacturer, is easy to install.
The Govee Square Ceiling Light is currently available on Amazon in Spain, France, and Germany for €51.79, a 26% discount from the recommended retail price of €69.99. It remains to be seen when the lamp will be available in other regions, such as the US or the UK. The company also recently launched the Govee Ceiling Light Pro.
