Mercedes CLA EQ: Prices start from 55,859 euros
Mercedes-Benz has opened a configurator in Germany for the all-electric CLA, which was unveiled in mid-March. The sedan is already available for order, with prices starting at 55,859 euros for the CLA 250+ variant.
Here's What We Know
For this amount, the buyer gets a rear-wheel-drive version with a power output of 200 kW and a range of up to 792 kilometres on the WLTP cycle. The second modification - all-wheel drive with 260 kW and a maximum range of 771 kilometres - costs 60,381 euros. Here are their main characteristics:

Prices for the CLA have been significantly lower than the larger Mercedes EQE. Mercedes is asking from €67,187 for the base version of the EQE, which is almost €12,000 more than the base CLA model. At the same time, the EQE 300 has almost the same power (195 kW) and a noticeably lower range (664 kilometres) - not to mention worse charging performance.
Compared to the 400-volt BMW i4 competitor, the CLA 250+ EQ also looks favourable: the 210 kW i4 eDrive35 is available from 57,500 euros, with a maximum range of 500 km. The slightly larger Audi A6 Sportback e-tron with 800-volt technology, rear-wheel drive, 210 kW and a maximum range of 627 kilometres is also more expensive at around 64,000 euros.
