Lost Soul Aside is postponed again: the anticipated action RPG will be released on 29 August instead of May
Players who are interested in the action-RPG Lost Soul Aside will have to be patient. The development of the game again requires additional time for polishing.
Here's What We Know
The release originally scheduled for 30 May has been officially postponed to 29 August. A new trailer with Japanese pre-order and updated release date for PC and PlayStation 5 is already available for viewing.
"We are sincerely grateful for the positive response we have received from players around the world since the announcement of Lost Soul Aside," said game director and creator Yang Bing, "We remain committed to delivering a high-quality gaming experience. To meet the standards that Ultizero Games has set for itself, we will take extra time to polish the game. Lost Soul Aside will be released on 29 August 2025. We want to express our sincere gratitude to our fans who are waiting for the launch."
To be fair, the delay is only three months, and if it leads to a better overall experience on release, then it's probably the right decision. Especially since the gaming calendar is already full of high-profile releases in the coming months, including DOOM: The Dark Ages and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. So, although the wait may be long, the main thing is that the final product should live up to the expectations.
