Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that up to 30 per cent of the company's code is created with the help of artificial intelligence. This statement was made at the Meta LlamaCon conference during a conversation with Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta.

Here's What We Know

Nadella noted that the use of AI yields mixed results depending on the programming language: significant progress is seen in Python, while results are less impressive in C++. The Microsoft CEO also asked Mark Zuckerberg this question, but the latter replied that he didn't know how much of the code in Meta is written by artificial intelligence. Microsoft's CTO, Kevin Scott, has previously suggested that up to 95 per cent of code will be generated by artificial intelligence by 2030.

Last week, Google CEO Sundar Pichai also said that more than 30 per cent of Google's code is already being generated by AI. However, the exact methods of measuring the proportion of AI code remain unclear, leading to scepticism about this.
