Action-RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will leave Early Access and become free on 21 May
Korean studio Netmarble and Warner Bros. have announced the full release date for the action-RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, which will be available in paid Early Access from March 2025.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will leave Early Access on 21 May and become free-to-play. The game will release on PC and Android and iOS mobile devices on that day and will be available in Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and Oceania, but when the release will take place in Asia is still unknown.
Of course, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will get a major update with the release from early access, with new content, dungeons, enemies, weapons and more being introduced to the game.
Everyone who played Kingsroad during the Early Access period will not lose progress and will be able to continue their adventures in Westeros.
On PC, the game can be launched via Steam, EGS or its own launcher. On mobile devices, the game is installed via the App Store and Google Play.
Flashback
In the project based on the series Game of Thrones, gamers will have to fight not only bandits and White Walkers, but also fantasy enemies, including griffins, unicorns, dragons, huge spiders and basilisks.
Each of these creatures has unique habits and combat behaviour. They are located in different locations and biomes, for example, ice spiders live in deep caves and basilisks live in the desert.
The game is created on Unreal Engine 5, and its plot will unfold in parallel with the fourth season of the series.
Players will be able to create their own character and make history at House Tyr, meeting iconic Game of Thrones characters including Jon Snow, Cersei, Jaime, Olenna Tyrell and Lord Varys.
The hero will take part in large-scale battles and get into the centre of political strife in Westeros, but the main danger remains the White Walkers, who will soon break out from behind the Wall.
The main emphasis in Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is on dynamic battles.
The player can choose one of three character classes - Mercenary, Knight and Assassin, and each of them has unique abilities.
