Xiaomi has launched a new gadget for the kitchen - Mijia Water Purifier Pro. It is a smart faucet with a dual purification system and the ability to control it via smartphone.

Xiaomi has expanded its range of smart devices by introducing the Mijia Water Purifier Pro, an advanced faucet with water filtration function and smartphone connectivity. The device is already on sale in China at a price of 2999 yuan (about 365 euros).

The tap is equipped with two separate water streams: one for drinking and one for household needs like washing vegetables or dishes. Drinking water passes through the filtration system at a rate of 4.25 litres per minute. The filter has a life expectancy of 6,500 litres and the household tap has a life expectancy of 25,000 litres.

The unit weighs 15.5kg, is designed in a minimalist style and blends easily into kitchen interiors. It is controlled via Xiaomi's proprietary mobile app, where you can track the filter status and receive notifications when it needs to be replaced.

Mijia Water Purifier Pro is an interesting solution for those who appreciate convenience, clean water and technology in one device. For now, the gadget is only available in the Chinese market, but it may be available in other countries later.
