The developers from Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy are not wasting any time and continue to improve the PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. The latest update, numbered, is already available for download and brings with it many important fixes related to various aspects of the game. The developers emphasise that most of the changes were made based on feedback from the players themselves.

Here's What We Know

One of the most notable innovations is the restoration of the correct operation of the dynamic blood drop effect, which was previously incorrectly displayed when hitting enemy body parts or using melee attacks. In addition, the update finally enables support for adaptive triggers on the DualSense controller when used via Steam Input. The overall sensitivity and functionality of DualSense when connected via Steam Input has also been improved.

In addition to major changes, the patch contains a number of minor fixes. Among them is the elimination of a visual bug in the Steam interface that caused players who were in No Return mode to appear in the Steam friends list as being in the main game menu. Also, the issue with pixelation of lighting in dark underwater sections, which occurred under certain settings, was resolved.

As a reminder, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered was released on PC in early April. The game includes all the content that was available in the Remastered version for PS5, including the No Return mode, as well as a number of PC-exclusive features, such as support for ultra-wide monitors.
