All questions for Rockstar: Remedy will not be marketing Max Payne I & II Remake
For several years now, Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment has been working on a remake of two parts of Max Payne. This project is being created in co-operation with Rockstar Games, which took over all marketing support and part of the development costs.
A lot of time has passed since the first mention of the remake and gamers are reasonably wondering when they will be shown at least the debut trailer.
Now we know the answer.
Here's What We Know
Remedy Entertainment CEO Tero Virtala explained during the discussion of the financial results of the first quarter of 2025 that all announcements, trailers and other promotional materials of Max Payne remake will be published exclusively by Rockstar Games, and the Finnish studio is engaged only in development.
Consequently, all questions about the upcoming trailers should be addressed to Rockstar Games. However, given the company's busy with its own biggest project (GTA VI), which, incidentally, Breaking news from Rockstar Games! GTA VI will not be released in 2025 today, it's unknown when Rockstar will take on the promotion of Max Payne I II Remake.
