Xiaomi may be preparing to release the third tablet in its Pad 7 line, but its name may not be the Pad 7 Max, as previously expected. A new confirmation from the Bluetooth SIG certification organisation suggests that the device is likely to be called the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra.

Here's What We Know

The model with the number 25032RP42C has already appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database, which is usually one of the last steps before a product is launched on the market. The same model has previously appeared on the Chinese 3C certification site with support for 120W fast charging.

What can we expect from the Pad 7 Ultra? Although the name change from Max to Ultra does not necessarily indicate a change in strategy, the tablet is still likely to be the top model in the Pad 7 lineup, surpassing both the standard version and the Pad 7 Pro.

According to preliminary data, the device will have a 14-inch OLED screen with narrow bezels and a camera notch in the centre. The rest of the characteristics are still a secret.

If Xiaomi continues the strategy of the previous year, the Pad 7 Ultra could be an improved version of the Pad 6 Max. This tablet had a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 14-inch 2.8K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a battery of over 10,000 mAh. It was also equipped with four speakers, a dual camera on the back, and support for reverse charging.

Although these specifications have not yet been confirmed, given the certifications, Xiaomi may soon unveil the Pad 7 Ultra officially.
