Microsoft will officially unveil the Surface Laptop 13 on 6 May, but thanks to the leak, we know that the laptop will get the following specs:

  • PixelSense touchscreen LCD display with Surface Pen support and 60Hz refresh rate;
  • 8-core Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 processor;
  • 16GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage (UFS);
  • a capacious battery will provide up to 23 hours of battery life;
  • USB-C × 2, USB-A and 3.5mm audio ports.

The computer will get an updated design with more rounded shapes, new body colours (grey, light blue and purple), and will be 15.5mm thick.

The Surface Laptop 13 uses an Island-type keyboard combined with a glass trackpad and an integrated fingerprint scanner in the top right corner of the keyboard that will help logging in via Windows Hello.

WinFuture notes that the Surface Laptop 13 will likely ship without a bundled power adapter, instead the device can be charged using any USB-C cable with at least 27W of power.
