Casio has introduced a new model in the G-Shock series, the GBA-950, which is now available in Japan. It is a sports watch that combines classic G-Shock reliability with modern features for an active lifestyle.

Here's What We Know

This watch connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth, and thanks to the phone's GPS, it can show exactly how far the wearer has walked during a walk or run.

The GBA-950 counts steps, calories, shows training intensity, measures pace and has an automatic lap recording function. The data is synchronised with the Casio Watches app. There is also support for two time zones, a stopwatch, a timer and several alarms.

The watch has a digital display that shows not only the time but also training data. LED backlighting and luminous elements help you see information in the dark. The case design has been updated: thanks to the origami design, the watch fits better on the wrist.

The case is made of durable resin and can withstand immersion up to 200 metres, and the battery is designed for 2 years of operation. The price in Japan is ¥25,300 (~$176). There is no information on the GBA-950's entry into the international market.

As a reminder, Casio has introduced a new G-Shock GA-V01 watch model in Europe. This stylish watch is already available in the UK, the Netherlands, Spain and other European countries. The model, which made its debut in China in early 2025, has now managed to attract buyers in the European market. The watch combines a classic analogue dial with two digital displays.
