Insider: OnePlus is preparing a mid-range Nord CE 5 smartphone with a 7100mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor
OnePlus might unveil a new mid-range smartphone in the near future.
A new model under the CPH2717 index has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification site.
Here's What We Know
Well-known insider Debayan Roy is sure that the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is hiding under the codename CPH2717. He believes that the gadget will be unveiled in June and that despite its category, it will get great specs.
According to Debayan Roy Nord CE 5 will get:
- OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate;
- MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor;
- 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage;
- an under-screen fingerprint scanner;
- hybrid SIM card slot;
- rear camera includes a 50 MP main sensor with Sony Lytia LYT-600 module and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with Sony IMX355 sensor.
The main feature of the OnePlus Nord CE 5 will be a high-capacity battery with 80W wired charging support. The insider claims that its capacity will be 7,100 mAh.
