BMW is primarily known for its cars and motorbikes. However, the Bavarian company also offers accessories and even perfumes. The latest offering from this sphere is the Amberness and Bergamood fragrances.

Here's What We Know

To create the above fragrances, BMW collaborated with Mavive, a company owned by the Vidal family (Vidal). The latter has been creating perfumes for over 120 years. Today Mavive is present in more than 90 countries. Amberness and Bergamood were created directly by world-renowned perfumers Frank Voelkl and Alexandra Monet.

Amberness "offers a sensual experience that conveys tranquillity and a sense of beauty". This fragrance combines French clary sage, Guatemalan cardamom, Italian bergamot and Egyptian geranium. Madagascar vanilla, Indonesian patchouli and Haitian vetiver are also mentioned.

Bergamood, for its part, has a "fresh and invigorating effect". The top note resounds with aromas of Italian bergamot and mandarin, enriched with pink pepper. Lavender and petitgrain enhance the sensations, while liquidambar and musk complete the composition with a "lively and stimulating effect".

The containers for the fragrances are no less interesting. They are made of transparent glass in a minimalist design. Their cylindrical shape reminds of the famous BMW headquarters building in Munich. The brand logo is embossed on the black cap of each bottle. The names are printed on the labels with a white background.

The new BMW Amberness and Bergamood fragrances will be available in selected perfume shops as well as in the BMW Lifestyle online shop and at selected BMW dealers in May. The price is €62.00 for 50ml and €85.00 for 100ml.
